Final Poster and Movie Synopsis

SYNOPSIS
Title: The Switchers
Tagline: They’re Not What You Think They Are
Genre: Action/Comedy

Synopsis: A group of five transgenders were having a drink at a bar in Los Angeles. They are Nigel, Steve, Sam, Mikey and Percy. All of them have regular jobs in the city. They chatted until the wee hours of the morning. Then suddenly Percy told the others that he wanted to undergo a sex reassignment surgery. The others were shocked at first but in the end they accepted Percy’s decision. A week later, Percy went for the surgery at an illegal clinic. The ‘surgeon’ performing the surgery did not have any license to perform the surgery. Percy told his friends that the cost is so much cheaper than going to a hospital with licensed surgeon. A week after his surgery, Percy felt something strange happening to his body. He then got very ill and was sent to the hospital for treatment.

After consulting, the doctor told him he needs to undergo another treatment because some of his organs were misplaced. The cost of the surgery is approximately $100,000 which he can’t afford to pay and he has no family members accept his close friends that were Nigel, Steve, Sam and Mikey. However, even his friends can’t afford to pay the cost of the surgery. They have no idea how to get that much money as fast as possible until Mikey decided that they could rob a bank. For the moment, Nigel, Steve and Sam thought that Mikey was only joking but he’s not. The three still doubted whether to rob the bank or to play it safe because there’s not much time for Percy’s body before it collapse.

After thinking for a couple of hours, they all agreed with Mikey’s idea to rob a bank. They planned very carefully on how they will rob the bank. They came up of a plan and each person has their own task assigned to them. After a few failed attempts of robbing a bank, they managed to rob a bank with a big sum of money; more than what they really need. The police officer, John Marshall who is investigating the case is very determined that he could nab all four of them in the nick of time. He came close to nabbing them a few times but failed. Nigel, Steve, Sam and Mikey paid the expenses of the surgery. Percy underwent another sex reassignment surgery to his normal self. After knowing about the robbing incident, Percy fled overseas with the extra money that his friends robbed; promising him that they will meet up again.

After a few days, the doctor was notified about the bank robbing incident after reading the newspaper. He lodged a police report about Percy and his friends who were similar in what the newspaper describes them. A few days after, John Marshall manage to arrest them but was released by the judges because the court did not have much evidence to prove them guilty. The four of them then went to Maldives to meet up with Percy after being released. They then dressed up as men again and lived a very luxurious mansion on a beautiful island.

Meanwhile in LA, John Marshall was very upset with the release of the four them. He then began to look at himself in the mirror and found a makeup kit in the room. Then he wonders...
